Online Databases- Gale and Dialog Corp. Partner

Gale and Dialog are allying themselves for future development of what is being cryptically described as "online products and service for the academic and public library markets worldwide." Few details were available at press time, with both parties saying only that "the first set of products and services, being developed for public libraries, are expected to be available by mid-2002."

The new alliance seeks to leverage Dialog's depth and breadth of content, brand power, and technology platforms in combination with Gale's market positions, expertise, and sales support infrastructure for worldwide markets.
