Though the Jewish Publication Society's 1917 translation of the Jewish Bible has long been available on audio, the newer, more widely read 1985 translation has previously never been recorded—until now. Produced by the Jewish Braille Institute, JPS Tanakh: The Jewish Bible is read by 13 narrators, including actors Theodore Bikel and Tovah Feldshuh and authors Bruce Feiler and Rabbi Harold Kushner.
