2008 ALA Conference: Programs about Multicultural Populations

The 2008 ALA Annual Conference is coming up in two weeks. This summer, we all go to Anaheim, CA to enjoy an exciting conference.
The preliminary program posted on the conference website includes many sessions about diverse populations. You can see a list of programs listed by track here and here. If you rather check programs listed by date, they are listed by Friday and Saturday, Sunday, and Monday and Tuesday.
This past weekend I looked at the program and compiled a wish list. As you will see, many programs clash with others and you might have to take tough decisions…

Is it possible for the American Indian Education Parent Committee to attend the President's event. We serve the students in the LA Schools and have a literacy program. Our students made the larget gain of any group. We are proud of that!
