Joint REFORMA Northeast, AILA, APALA, BCALA, CALA Mini-Conference
April 17, 2008
All roads lead to New York City. On Friday, May 16, the Northeast Chapter of REFORMA is teaming up with ALA ethnic caucuses to present the REFORMA Northeast Chapter, AILA, APALA, BCALA, CALA Mini-Conference. It will be the Northeast 4th annual mini-conference in conjunction with ALA affiliates. It is the perfect opportunity to connect with colleagues that might not be abe to attend national annual conferences.
Last year, the conference was attended by librarians, students, publishers, distributors and professionals serving Latinos and Spanish speakers from the Northeast and from states in the Midwest. A number of the attendees made the weekend of the mini-conference, a New York weekend. They attended a professional event and enjoyed the Big Apple. You can do that too!
This May, come to New York. We want to see you here!
The mini-conference is free! Free lunch and no registration fee!
Email me if you plan to attend.
