This book presents an eight-week program to get rid of extra pounds, with the new idea that completely enjoying each meal is an important part of our daily health habits. David shows how to increase energy and improve digestion while feeling revitalized and motivated every week. The author reveals the limitation and weaknesses of other diets that offer easy routines and promise instant results. Unlike other dieting books, this one encourages readers to eat without thinking of the consequences; the author believes that most of our eating problems stem from the desire to do everything, including eating meals, in smaller amounts of time. Thus, David touches upon topics such as feeling relaxed, being conscious, and getting pleasure from our meals in order to slow down the stress in our lives and arrive at an understanding of the close relationship between food and our bodies. Recommended for large Spanish-language collections.
