This is the American Lung Association’s official method to quit smoking. It consists of seven steps, each illustrated with useful tests, tips, and exercises. Smokers will find the exercises, which involve writing down goals and changes in mood, particularly helpful in making them commit to quitting. More serious in tone than the previous titles, this book includes an extensive explanation of why one should stop smoking and a comprehensive section motivating readers never to have a cigarette again after six months of successfully quitting the habit.
