The Críticas team is proud to present the first comprehensive directory of domestic and international players in the U.S. Spanish-language publishing market. This unique resource will serve as an essential guide for companies and professionals currently involved in or soon to become part of this expanding market. Within one simple guide, buyers and sellers will find the numerous publishers, distributors, bookstores, translators, literary agents, cultural organizations, and trade fairs that make the market tick.

In recognition of the growing importance of the Latino reading community in the United States, the editors and publishers of Publishers Weekly, Library Journal and School Library Journal launched Críticas: An English Speaker's Guide to the Latest Spanish-Language Titles in 2001. Our bimonthly magazine, which is written in English for those who are responsible for buying essential Spanish-language material but who might not read en español, offers news, monthly best seller lists, reviews, roundups of essential backlist titles on specific subjects, features, and author interviews. Críticas has become the authoritative, one stop-source for a critical look at adult and children's titles from the domestic and international Spanish-language publishing world.
